You room description is shown on your booking screen and is one of the main selling tools for your room types and your property.
It's easy to update your room type description and can be done at any time.
It will also be provided on your iBex property brochure.
Instructions
- Select the Search Room Types option in the Room Types section in the menu
- Click on the ID for the room type that you want to amend the description for
- Go into the Details tab
- Update the description in the Description field in the General section
Tip - It's recommended that you also update the Standard Inclusions field in the Facilities section as this is another way to help market your property. Standard Inclusions can be anything, whether it's Complimentary Tea & Coffee, Full use of our facilities, or complimentary local paper, it can give your customer's another reason why to book. - Click Save room type once completed
iBex will then automatically update your public booking screen and your property brochure and it is recommended that you check that it is updated correctly by going to your booking screen on your website (by clicking the My Booking Screen option in the Actions box on the right hand side of the screen) and clicking on the room type name for the description.
