Step	Action
1	You will require your need it now property ID – instructions below:   Login to need it now at https://secure.needitnow.com/needitnow/admin/NIN_login.asp At welcome page click on link ‘update your property details’ Note page web address which will end with format …&AccommId=123456 The AccommId returned is your need it now remote property ID – you will require this for step 13 below.
2	Login to your iBex account.
3	From left menu select Sales Channels > Add a sales Channel
4	At the pop up window titled ‘New Sales Channel’ click the button Register Available Sales Channel
5	Enter ‘need’ into search field at top right of window and press enter on your keyboard.   Matching results will be displayed – see example screen image below.
6	If this the first and only connection to need it now click the green plus icon adjacent to need it now (see above example). If this is an additional connection select need it now (Connection 2 or 3) as appropriate. Refer Important Notes section below.
7	Optionally update General section fields as required.   Notes are private. Refer sample example screen image below.
8	Rules section:   select required Selling Group (likely to be Agents) select Rate Modifier (Rate 1 will typically be same as you sell at, other options will be a % increase or discount) set Multi-booking Invoice as required (PMS accounts only. No means you will send an invoice for each booking, yes means you batch multiple bookings into an invoice) set Commission charged by need it now (PMS accounts only.) set Commission Extras Code (PMS accounts only. Likely to be Misc > Cmsn) Refer example below.
9	Click Register Sales Channel button.   You will progress to the Channel Mapping tab.
10	Enter your email address at iBex Notification Emails To field.
11	It is recommended that iBex Email on New Booking are set as follows:   Block Operator – not checked Block Property – checked Block Customer – checked
12	It is recommended that iBex Booking Email Rule is set to ‘Do not send emails’.
13	At Channel Property ID enter need it now AccommId as obtained at step 1.
14	At Channel Operator ID enter your need it now user ID.
15	At Channel Password enter your need it now password.
16	It is recommended that Send Rates is set as ticked.
17	Set Allocation Handling field as required (we recommend Total per Room). This is really only relevant if you will be mapping a single room type from iBex to multiple room types at need it now (eg. for length of stay price variations, etc).
18	Click Save button.
19	Room and rate mapping will now be set – refer sample screen image below.
20	Complete each room mapping row as follows:   Channel Room Name – select as required (this is the room type name at need it now). iBex Rate Name – select as required . Click ‘+’ to map any iBex room type to further room types at need it now (eg. for differing minimum stays/rates – see notes at bottom of this page). See image below for an example where King Studio Unit and Twin Studio Unit have been connected to multiple room types at need it now.
21	Click Save button.
22	Click Save & Update Channel button.
23	Wait a few minutes and click View Log button.   If the Remote Service Log Viewer indicates queued updates are pending, wait a further few minutes and click the ‘Refresh’ button.

IMPORTANT NOTES
 
  You must have a minimum of 3 different room types to list with need it now. Of those 3 room types you must have at least 2 rooms/units of each type as they do not list individual rooms.
 
need it now receives the base room rate only from iBex – you will need to maintain any changes to extra adult/child prices directly at need it now.
 
  need it now cannot accept multiple rates or minimum stay variations from iBex for a single room type. If you wish to provide availability from iBex to need it now for differing rates / minimum stay periods on a room type you will need to duplicate the room at need it now for each rate / differing minimum stay.
 
  Base 1 pax rates from iBex are not transmitted to need it now unless the max guest count in the rate is also 1. Where a room holds more than 1 person and the base rate in iBex is 1, the 2 person rate will be transmitted to need it now.
 
  iBex supports up to 3 connections to need it now from a single property. Instructions vary at step 6 above if setting up a 2nd or 3rd connection. 
 
  After any extensive modification of your rates/prices within iBex it is recommended you perform a full re-synch to need it now. Click here for instructions.

2	Login to your iBex account.
3	Add need it now as an ODN agent in Seekom iBex:   From left menu select Users & Clients > Create agent • no admin rights At field labelled Seekom ODN Agents select Need it Now (ODN) NOTE: If setting a second connection select ‘Need it Now (Connection 2)’ or for a third connection select ‘Need it Now (Connection 3)’   Set User Group and Room Rate Value as required Set other fields as required Click Save button (towards bottom of screen)
4	From left menu select Users & Clients > Agent Room-rate mapping.
5	At ‘Available Services’ field select Need it Now   Remote Service Control Panel will display – refer sample screen image below. NOTE: If setting a second connection select ‘Need it Now (Connection 2)’ or for a third connection select ‘Need it Now (Connection 3)’.
6	Enter Remote Property ID (as obtained in step 1).
7	Enter Operator ID (your need it now user ID).
8	Enter Remote Password (your need it now password).
9	Ignore remaining fields at this stage and click Save button and then re-select need it now service.
10	Enter your email address at Notify Errors field.
11	Interface rules will now be set – refer sample screen image below.
12	It is recommended that Stop Emails are set as follows:   Operator – not checked Property – checked Customer – checked Agent – checked 3rd Party – checked Disable Auto – checked
13	Set Allocation Handling field as required.   This is only relevant if you will be mapping a single room type from iBex to multiple room types at need it now (eg. for length of stay price variations, etc)
14	Room and rate mapping will now be set – refer sample screen image below.
15	Complete each room mapping row as follows:   Remote Room Name – select as required (this is the room type name at need it now). Rate Name– select as required. Request – we recommend this is set as ‘Unavailable’. To map any iBex room type to further room types at need it now (eg. for differing minimum stays/rates – see notes at bottom of this page) click ‘+’
14	Check Enabled field (top of screen), check Re-Synch field (bottom left of screen) and click ‘Save’ button.
15	Wait a few minutes and click ‘View Log’ hyperlink (coloured blue).
