If you have a live account with AA Travel you can now automate availability, rates and bookings by interfacing/connecting your iBex account to AA Travel.
Please read the important notes (bottom of page) about interface limitations.
Set up the connection yourself FREE OF CHARGE using our self help instructions below.
If you would prefer Seekom Support to set up the connection for you a charge of $85 (+tax) per hour will apply with a minimum charge of $50 (+tax)
1. You will need to request AA Travel to set iBex as your channel manager and provide you with their property and room codes for the connection.

2. Login to your Seekom iBex account.
3. From left menu select Sales Channels > Add a sales Channel
4. At the pop up window titled 'New Sales Channel' click the button Register Available Sales Channel
5. Enter 'AA Travel' into search field at top right of window and press enter on your keyboard.
Matching results will be displayed - see example screen image below.
6. If this the first and only connection to AA Travel click the green plus icon adjacent to AAA Tourism (see above example).
If this is an additional connection select AA Travel (Connection 2 or 3) as appropriate.
Refer Important Notes section below.
7. Optionally update General section fields as required.
Notes are private. Refer sample example screen image below.
8. At Rules section:
- select required Selling Group (likely to be Agents)
- select Rate Modifier (Rate 1 will typically be same as you sell at, other options will be a % increase or discount)
- set Multi-booking Invoice as required (PMS accounts only.
No means you will send an invoice for each booking, yes means you batch multiple bookings into an invoice) - set Commission charged by AA Travel (PMS accounts only. )
- set Commission Extras Code (PMS accounts only. Likely to be Misc > Cmsn)

9. Click Register Sales Channel button.
You will progress to the Channel Mapping tab.
10. Enter your email address at iBex Notification Emails To field.
11. It is recommended that iBex Email on New Booking are set as follows:
- Block Operator – not checked
- Block Property – checked
- Block Customer – checked
12. It is recommended that iBex Booking Email Rule is set to 'Do not send emails'.
13. At Channel Property ID enter your AA Travel Property ID (as supplied by AA Travel - refer step 1).
14. It is recommended that Send Rates is set as ticked.
15. Complete each room mapping row as follows:
- Remote Room ID - enter room codes supplied by AA Travel
- Rate Name - Select as required
To map any iBex room type to further room types at AA Travel (NZ) (eg. for differing minimum stays/rates - see notes at bottom of this page) click '+'
16. Set Allocation Handling field as required (we recommend Total per Room).
This is really only relevant if you will be mapping a single room type from iBex to multiple room types at AA Travel (eg. for length of stay price variations, etc).
17. Click Save button
18. Room and rate mapping will now be set - refer sample screen image below.
19. Complete each room mapping row as follows:
Channel Room ID – enter Room ID as supplied by AA Travel (refer step 1).
iBex Rate Name – select as required.
Channel Rate ID – enter Rate ID as supplied by AA Travel (refer step 1).
Click applicable '+' to map an iBex room and/or rate to further room/rates at AA Travel (eg. for differing minimum stays/rates - see notes at bottom of this page).
See image below for an example where Standard Room has been connected to another room/rate at AA Travel.
20. Click Save button
21. Click Save & Update Channel button.
22. Wait a few minutes and click View Log button.
If the Remote Service Log Viewer indicates queued updates are pending, wait a further few minutes and click the 'Refresh' button.
23. If you have performed the connection successfully you will see OK messages for inventory & rates uploaded.

2. Login to your Seekom iBex account.
3. Add AA Travel (NZ) as an ODN agent in Seekom iBex:
- From left menu select Users & Clients > Create agent • no admin rights
- At field labelled Seekom ODN Agents select AA Travel (ODN)
NOTE: If setting a second connection select ‘AA Travel (Connection 2)’ or for a third connection select ‘AA Travel (Connection 3)’. - Set User Group and Room Rate Value as required
- Set other fields as required
- Click Save button (towards bottom of screen)l
4. From left menu select Users & Clients > Agent Room-rate mapping.
Remote Service Control Panel screen will open
5. At 'Available Services' field select AA Travel (NZ)
NOTE: If setting a second connection select 'AA Travel (Connection 2)' or for a third connection select 'AA Travel (Connection 3)'
Remote Service Control Panel will display - refer sample screen image below.
6. Tick Enabled check box.
7. Enter Remote Property ID (your property code supplied by AA Travel (NZ) - refer step 1).
8. Enter your email address at Notify Errors field.
9. Interface rules will now be set - refer sample screen image below.
10. It is recommended that Stop Emails are set as follows:
- Operator – not checked
- Property – checked
- Customer – checked
- Agent – checked
- 3rd Party – checked
- Disable Auto – checked
11. We recommend the field post Rates is checked.
12. Set Allocation Handling field as required.
This is only relevant if you will be mapping a single room type from iBex to multiple room types at AA Travel (NZ) (eg. for length of stay price variations, etc)
13. Set field Min Stay Handling as required.
Relevant options for AA Travel (NZ) are:
- First Available – if you are setting up one to one room type mapping only and merely wish AA Travel (NZ) to operate to lowest min stay pricing.
- Specific Minstays – if you wish to map a specific min stay duration pricing to AA Travel (NZ) and/or will be mapping one room type in Ibex to multiple room stay variations at AA Travel (NZ).
14. Room and rate mapping will now be set - refer sample screen image below.
15. Complete each room mapping row as follows:
- Remote Room ID - enter room codes supplied by AA Travel
- Rate Name - Select as required
To map any iBex room type to further room types at AA Travel (NZ) (eg. for differing minimum stays/rates - see notes at bottom of this page) click '+'
16. Check Re-Synch field (bottom left of screen) and click Save button.
17. Wait a few minutes and click 'View Log' hyperlink (coloured blue).
18. If you have performed the connection successfully you will see OK messages for inventory & rates uploaded.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- iBex supports up to 3 connections to AA Travel from a single property. Instructions vary at steps 3 and 5 above if setting up a 2nd or 3rd connection.
- After any extensive modification of your rates/prices within iBex it is recommended you perform a full re-synch to AA Travel. Click here for instructions
